I discovered how tired I was when I spent a week resting in Portland. I knew I needed a break; I’d been looking forward to the time away from Austin and work for over a month. However, the full extent of my weariness only hit when I ceased from all activity.

Remember the Sabbath Day
With the fourth commandment, I was able to combine two of my art loves: illustration and handlettering. I’m somewhat happy with how the work turned out; I’ve realized I missed the “in peace” from the verse in Psalms. It bothers me since I believe it to be a critical word.
